How easy is it to change motorcycle handlebars?

Changing a new set of handlebars can change the aesthetics, ergonomics, steering feel, and performance of the motorcycle in one fell swoop. It can also be done in a single day in the garage, so DIYers with a little passion can change things up quite easily. If you have to remove them, remember in what order they should be placed, since some clamps use two screws or bolts of different lengths.
